Farewell to Mike Huckaby

We are very saddened to hear the news about Mike Huckaby passing away.

A true legend, the Detroit house music pioneer, had a massive influence on our culture. Mike Huckaby was a close friend to our London music community - we first met him at Dalston's Bar A Bar in 2012, where he performed alongside Jane Fitz and Dubbyman for Northern Purpose, and his The Defenders Of The Deep House World EP on Guy Mccreery's Third Ear is a classic in our record collection.
